Good day,

Is there any *REAL* solution to Scrapebox crashing when harvesting or doing larger type of projects? Like scraping 500 000+ URI's or posting to 50 000+ blogs etc?

I have not found any real solution anywhere and the crash plugin doesn't work when the app freezes which is all it do on my part (no "real" crash, just freezes).

These "fixes" have no effect
- Lowering amount of connections (doesn't matter if it's 5 or 100, same stuff)
- Adjusting timeouts to higher or max values
- Restarting Windows and then running

And running 1 million url's through bloganalyzer is pretty much a no-go since that would take forevever and the plugin isn't even that reliable since it returns a lot of working url's as 404 etc (so one have to run it multiple times which sucks on larger lists).

So.. are there any real solutions out there? I would like to be able to scrape more and post to more without having to baby sit the app.

Edit - Specs:
Win7 x64 Ultimate
8gb ram, Intel SSD (system drive), Nvidia GFX etc.
10mbit full duplex (fiber)

This is a somewhat mediocre bump. :f

Mine crashed due to the spin syntax put on comments.

have you got all of the .net framework installed, 3.5 + 4
and all of the service packs ?

it doesnt sound like this is the problem, but it might help eliminate what might be the problem,
ram could be a problem, but you have 8gb, so it cant be that.

I have only 512 ram and I used 130 connections when posting and 150 when harvesting. When I harvest more than 1 million urls the apps freezes and I have to abort it and go to harvester sessions to retrieve the urls. Just go to harvester sessions if it keeps adding bytes. I don't use blog analyser I just directly post to blog. I'm posting 100k urls without problem.

Go to task manager, end all processes besides vital ones and scrapebox, right click on scrapebox, set priority to high or real time, run your project. Don't mess with the computer SB is running on and keep SB open at all times.

Has been working for me nicely.

My SB crashes all the time, even on high end machines.

It defiantly has got something to do with your website list though. I find some of my lists never crash and some always do.

Did you get the update? Mine has not crashed after it, lets see if it does crash or is it resolved now.

Yeah, got the update. It's still too prone to freezes when running 100k+ lists though. Ending all processes except SB is a "no go" since i actually use that computer for other things as well. Got all the frameworks and win updates as well.

mine is addon can not install. still waiting for the solution from the support.
I sent email 2 times but still not get response yet, I'll wait for couple days. :(

It happens mostly when harvesting large keyword lists or using the fast poster (no matter what no. of connections or timeout setting being used).

It would seem it have to do with either bad proxies or some sort of memory allocation that go straight to hell. I would guess the latter.

I just purchased scrapebox and it doesn't work period. It just locks up right from jump street. Does anyone have any idea on what could be causing this. I've put in numerous support requests but I've gotten zero help. NONE. Nada. I need some ideas on what to check. Please help. Thanks.

I think this is the cause - something to do with certain URL's. I've noticed that with some lists, when reordered the hang will happen at different times, and it's the URL that's the common denominator.

What I want to know is how the hell are we supposed to know where we are in the URL list when posting comments if we can't scroll through the list to see what worked and what didn't?

scrapebox crashes while harvesting and continues harvesting from the search engines... will it continue to write the harvested urls to the harvester session files?

that's because the makers of of scrapebox did not let everyone who purchase the product. that scrapebox tap out at a million or below, just about on every feature.I get the info on another forum,he's a pro at playing around with scrapebox.

That's the reason I don't use blog analyzer anymore. Try to post directly on all the harvested urls.It will give you more failed entries but you can blast them again.
And if you want to remove a part of the urls that scrapebox cannot post to, just remove the urls who contain this footprints: /tag/ , /category/ , ?cat= , /images/ , /keywords/
