This is a very strong topic here. Basically blog spamming with anchor in the comment is crap because they never get approved and there are no auto approve blogs. Your actual criteria is
Blog must be do follow
Blog must allow HTML
Blog must be auto approve
Blog must respond
Blog submit button must be active along with post script
Blog fields must be named correctly and present
Blog must be indexed
If all of the above are not met then any blog posts are a complete and total load of shit and a waste of your time and money.
The above leaves you allowed to simply put your web address in as the OP states.
I suspect that if this is a substantial feature of your inbound link profile then google will quickly spot it and slide a red hot poker up your sites ass.
link in the comment = never approved. If you just put it in the website section + use a real name and not a keyword, it has a much better chance of being approved
posting keyword even under "name" eg - Free Sex Tape has low chance of being approved and your domain might get kicked out. For many hard core blackhatters that's OK due to huge volumes of posts and money made in short period of time.
For others, in my opinion best way is to use website field only and unde3r name write something like
" Joe The Sex Tape Master"
You can check your links for Found/Not Found +RIGHT+ after you submit them. Sort by found - Auto-Approve blogs will obviously be "Found" in minutes - while moderated may never be found.
Keep a list of these auto-approve blogs for later spamming.
