Scrapebox Checked Proxies Not Working in Scrapebox

I port scanned proxies through ProxyFire and tested them in Scrapebox to see if they were good.

I got quite a decent amount of HTTP proxies that passed the Proxy Check with very fast connection speeds.

However, when I try using the proxies in Scrapebox to extract links, the program simply remains at the initial thread count with most of the threads showing "reading" and nothing ever happens for hours.

Please, what exactly could be the problem here?

Is there a specific way of testing for proxies that will work in Scrapebox.

Is there a better software that can assist in properly checking and classifying both HTTP and SOCKS proxies?

Your using these with what function in scrapebox?

The link extractor addon?

I mean you do not even need proxies for that and it would be generally faster not to use them with that function.

But if you can be more specific about the function your using or give a screenshot(s) then I can better direct you.

Yes, I have the same problem.

I have harvested and checked the proxies. I have over 5K proxies in the harvester list.

I opened Page scanner add-on and run it using these proxies.

It stays on "reading" for many hours without doing anything

I don't think it's possible to scrape Yelp with free proxies. I believe if they detect a proxy, you get hit with a captcha, which Scrapbox can't solve.

Try without a proxy, and if it works, get rotating proxies from Storm Proxies. They have a sales thread in the marketplace.

as noted above, these proxies are not going to work. Half of them are probably dead by the time you get done testing them. Free proxies die fast and fail often. You need paid private proxies or you could try reverse/rotating/back connect proxies and see if that works for you

I've been using residential proxies and it's pricier for sure but man it's fantastic. I didn't think I'd ever see Scrapebox move this fast again, but residential seems to do the trick. I can barely get any work done anymore with regular proxies. Even datacenter private are banned so fast, you gotta have a lot to get things going
