Scrapebox better used hosted on a VPS using proxies?

You reckon there is better performance using SB on a VPS? If you think performance is much better then how would that be done - i.e. placing SB on a VPS?

That depends on your choice of VPS. If they oversell, they performance suffer.

Also how much memory and CPU you buy. Even I/O speed matter, if you process a lot of list and data.

ok thanks - i see your point about CPU. But what about actually placing SB on a VPS? I mean, say your VPS comes with cPanel or Plesk, how do you place SB onto the hosting?

The performance is much better on a VPS. Just get 2gb ram and a good processor. Will cost around $30.

You'll be able to have scrapebox running 24/7 with fantastic results from even middle ground components.

2.0GHz and a couple GB of ram would be perfect.

Best thing I've done is put SB on a VPS - I think its a must - can just log on setoff my jobs - even better with the automator tool now.
VPS running Windows server 8 so you can log on remote just like using the computer in front of you.
I have a NAS drive at home and I setup a shared partition on the Windows VPS so I can just change text files, using SB automator. Real minimal work for the stuff I need to do now!

I use alot of software on a VPS but not Scrapebox. I have my computer on 24/7 so leaving scrapebox open isn't really a problem, and since I use it so frequently to do things like trim/remove duplicate domains/harvest new public proxies I'd prefer not to login to a VPS repeatedly.

If I scraped with it nonstop I would probably put it on a VPS though.

better on vps.. usually vps has more speed and more stable to run your software than running it on your pc
