Hi all, i am new to this forum and i would like to ask a few questions if you can help me please(i am an spanish native speaker so excuse me for my bad english).

I have been reading guides about how to rank a website using ON-page and OFF-page optimization ( link building with software like gsa or scrapebox.)

However when it comes to ranking on YouTube some people that ranking on YT is different than ranking on Google, they say that you have to have authority, watch time retention views, subscribers...

So my question is:

- it's worth to use scrapebox and embed one video of my YT channel into my web 2.0 and then blast links?

- This method is going to be as affective as for regular website linkbuilding?

- If not can you show me some complete guide about how to rank videos on YT and get authority so my videos will show in the first 4-5 results?

I want to clarify that i know how to optimize the SEO (tags, video description, thumbnails etc)

THE problem is this:

My channel is about gameplays, and i made a gameplay from a game that came out yesterday 28 july(so competition is almost non-existent), there is only 2 channels that uploaded a gameplay as fast as i did, and the are very small channels (they don't even have 10k subs), but they show up in the first 4-5 positions, and i am not even appearing...

- It is becouse my channel is super new and have less than 30 videos?

- What am i doing wrong?

Thanks you guys.

Thanks for the mention but this isn't my cup of tea. This is more of a strategy question and this particular strategy is not one that I have tried and I don't like to comment on stuff I have not tried. Because at that point its just hypothisis and there is plenty of that floating around all over the place, I prefer to test and have facts. So sorry I can't help out on this one.

ok thanks for replying guys lets see if some expert in ranking videos on YT can give me some advise
