Scrapebox and Win8.1 ---> Sluggish?

As so many I have SB since it came out. Recently, I was looking into it again. In the mean-time, I switched over to Win8.1

When I scrape/test proxies, for example, it seems very sluggish to me and seems slower than using under Win7. Anyone seeing this? It would take me ages to test to test a list of say 2000 proxies.

I have 8.1 and it's fine for me

Only used it for a couple of jobs on my new PC desktop and I did notice it was a little slower.
It could be my PC - but it is Windows 8.1

I suspected it was my internet connection at the time. Might give it another go.
