When I use it with bing and yahoo always 0 result
I use 3 4G proxy and get results on google and ask dot com but those2 always 0

Do you think you are only one using that 4g proxy from the provider? Usually it's over shared and spammed to death.

So in my opinion, Try to get some Dedicated Private proxies it will cost almost similar but you will use for your purpose you want for.

How many threads are you running.

You also could be the only one using the proxy NOW, but it could have been burned before.

Do you get any results without proxies (test out at depth 1) just to test.
 
I use dedicated private proxies from new ip now (they have a sales thread here on BHW you can get 50% extra proxies free from).

Use 1 thread per every 10 proxies with 20 second delay.

Using the detailed harvester with proper settings will make a big difference albeit slow. Make sure to enable the setting to remove banned proxies. Scraping google in 2023 is not going to be fast unless you have a lot of proxies.

Do not use shared proxies like 4g proxies or rotating backconnect proxies.
 
I always found scrapebox to be a buggy mess. lots of things dont work and I spend more time figuring out why it doesnt work than doing the actual work. Thats why im now just coding my workflow in python instead of scrapebox. Its faster to code it myself and more reliable.

so in the mean time while you’re doing all that awesome coding you’re still not working/scraping? Neat.
 
sure I am. What i meant is that its faster to code it myself than try to to use scrapebox, as scrapebox constantly bugs out on me. Lots of things that scrapebox can do are super easy to script.

Agree but you can't replicate Scrapebox if you can it will cost hundreds of thousands of dollar.
 
well I dont try to replicate scrapebox. Just the things that I need to do which is a small fraction of scrapeboxes tools. Also I think you overestimate the costs. What scrapebox does is really not rocket science. Most of it can be done with a few lines of code. Scrapebox is just special in the sense that it bundles a lot of those small things in one tool.
 
With GPT 4 now, most things you can just tell GPT to give you the python code. As its pretty simple stuff it generally gets those things right, so you dont even have to code if you are smart about it.

I know about coding and done my self script as well.
I know chatgpt 4 as well used comprehensively .

If you think ChatGpt4 can fulfill your large scale projects and make the code from scratch to full production ready software then you are wrong.

Don't see the world from your own lens not every one smart like you who make the code with chatgpt then check what's the issues debug etc instead buy Scrapebox it's one time cost nothing fancy. It gives you tons of things so don't waste time on reinvent wheel in contract focus on work.

P.S: It's my opnion it can be wrong as well and not want offend anyone.
 
I dont know where you are seeing me saying that gpt 4 can handle large scale projects. I said a few lines of code.
 
and I have used gpt 4 code in production repeatedly. It seems to be you are telling me that I am saying things that I didnt
 
Yes, You did not said but Scrapebox is full production ready able to handle large scale projects that GPT 4 can't make code quickly like it.

And as i said you are smart not everyone can do like you do it.

General users are not that advanced it's my opinion and experience that i have seen so far.

Ensure that your 4G proxies are configured correctly in Scrapebox. Double-check that they are active and not banned by Bing and Yahoo. Also, make sure you have selected Bing and Yahoo as the search engines you want to scrape in Scrapebox.

Try going to settings >> harvester engine configuration >> import >> download default engines

Then try it, does it work?

Bing returns different html sometimes based on the geographic location of the IP. but with those updated engines yahoo and bing work for me.
