Hey People,

I'm looking for a tool and I think scrape box and an add-on would be perfect.

You can search with google for images online, this way you can see if anyone has stolen a picture from you and ask them for a link or removal. Now I do this by hand, but I think scrape box could make my life much easier. I was thinking I could upload multiple images to a website and google would index that. Then i could put the url's to scrape box and scrape box then checks google images for other websites that has the same picture. In the end scrape box gives up a list of url's where google found the picture...

Does anyone know of a scrape box plugin that could do that or does anyone has the technical knowledge to make something like this?

Kind regards,

borrellaar.

Im not completely sure this would work. How do you currently upload the original picture to google for comparison?

I can't really think of a way for you to do this via scrapebox as it is right now.

tineye.com

This is EXACTLY what you are looking for.

So easily bypassed as well.

If you use images you find on the web - push them through Irfanview first and alter the size slightly or trim a little (Cntrl Y or Cntrl R) and these tools never find them.

Tineye is also quite a buggy BETA - if it ever works it might get exact rips, but it doesn't seem good at getting altered images.

Altered Images? Why not....

Google does find altered images too. TinyEye works as well. But I am looking for a tool that monitors thousands of images in a database.

http://images.google.com/ is also good. I know how to automate it but it wont be cheap. If you are interested PM me your budget ;) Maybe it would be also possible to automate picture removal/link request process.
