Scrape Telegram Groups & Add Members

Hello,

any way to scrape members of Telegram groups and add them to my group? I am looking for a free method to get the ball rolling.

I'm also on the process of doing this.

I found this program, TexApi, but haven't tried it out yet. It's paid, but they have free version with limited capabilities.

I currently have it open on my desktop, but been procrastinating, so I haven't tried it out yet.
 
Tried several free bots for that, not usually working.

Yup. And I am NOT paying 50 USD+ for something I don't know to be working.
 
According to the software seller, "they stopped offering a free trial", so the trial version of the software does basically nothing.

This thing works using the Telegram API.

I'm using the trial version it was able to scrape 9,999 users from a group.

You can't export to CSV with the trial version, though.

I've created an app in the past that works with telegram api and from my findings you either have to be the owner or find one that is totally unmoderated to even contact any members of said group.

Unless there is some hack to get around that, you can't even get a list of members, much less contact or 'steal' them. I'm willing to bet it's a waste of $$$.

Skeptical.

I think it was possible at some point but not anymore.

Yes, the users I scraped while testing it out where from a group that's not mine.

I also managed to send 5 invites (max limit for trial version) to the users I scraped and got 4 joins into my own channel.

Download the trial version and test it out for yourself, it's easy to set up.

I'm considering buying it in the near future.

I just started using telegram a few days ago, I'm trying to expand from Twitter to Telegram.

And just from what I've seen these past few days, it seems like people are making bank on Telegram, so this scraper might be a worthwhile investment for growing groups and channels.

Found this guy offering a 30 Day Free Trial version of TexAPI with all the features enabled.

I'm currently running the program:

> Scraped members from a group that's not my own, and I'm now sending them invitations to join my channel.

Watch the video and check the description for the instructions on how to obtain the 30 Day Trial key.
(You basically have to download the software through his site, send him a screenshot of your subscription to his YT channel and wait for the email with the trial key)

*BTW: I'm not affiliated with this guy, or the TexAPI software, just relaying what I found. Hopefully it'll help you guys generate some money, especially the beginners.

You can only scrape groups and add those members your goups/channels.

You can't scrape channels unless you're an admin of the channel you're trying to scrape.

Maybe you're attempting to scrape channels. ?

It's been working fine for me.

Although yesterday I did try to scrape member from a group, however, the members of the group were hidden.
I couldn't see the member list through the "Group Info" tab on telegram, maybe that's why you're getting that error.

Huh? Well okay, that might be true, I always thoughts groups were the same as channels. LOL
Any suggestions where I can find groups, instead of channels, to scrape? Any search engine for that?
 
Also, the tool uses "channels" and "tools" as synonyms.

Oh, yeah... I'm not sure why they have it like that. It confused me for a bit so I just ignored it.

I guess "IsSuper" = Group
and "IsChannel" = Channel

I believe that when both are marked it means that there's a group attached/related to the channel.
