Hi All,

When I test the socks5 (I bought it from my source), it immediately telling the ips are blocked.
And I can confirm that those S5 are without any problem.

I did the same in a few weeks ago and everything just work fine, at least 70% is valid but now none of them work.
Although the IPs are the same but it should not appear like this, because those are private s5 server and my source update the user name and password everyday.

Is that because scrapbox have a built in database so before even testing the s5 it was found in the blocked list in database??:confused:

by the way, I noticed that the navigation bar, under "Socks" it was marked as "N", is this where the problem is, if yes where to change the status and "telling" scrapbox this is s5 but not http proxy....

You don't tell sbox what type of proxy it is, the tester detects whether or not it is socks and marks it accordingly.

Something is wrong there though with the N appearing in the socks column...can you test them with charon or some other proxy tester?

I placed the list like this, is there anything wrong?
ip: port:user: password
ip2: port:user: password
ip3: port:user: password
(notice that there is no space above when I put the list into scrapbox, just to avoid the icon generated on forum)

Also just now I asked my source to give me 10 socks from 6 different countries. I don't think it is the problem of the proxy, can anyone tell where the problem is, I can't figure it out after a few trials.

That's the correct format (ip - port - u - pwd). Weird.

She introduced a feature in a recent version to unblock proxies that are blocked from Google Harvesting. Feature available in the Proxy Manager. Might give that a try, cuz otherwise I'm stumped.

"v1.14.0 Ability to unblock proxies that are blocked from Google Harvesting (302) and require Captcha. Feature available in the Proxy Manager."

But this feature is not I want though, seems like they add a buying proxy button, is that because they want us to buy from them?

Anyone is experience in using s5 in scrapebox?

ok finally I figure out where the problem is, support told me that I should add "s" before the ip address. It works now:) now the socks column marked as "Y", if anyone has the same problem, give it a try!
