Guys, I just starting using scrapebox, but after harvesting a couple url's I started having issues.

I am getting a "error 403 forbidden" when I try and check the page rank of the inner pages of a URL. Is this because I am not using proxies or am I doing something else wrong. It work perfect the first couple times and not it isn't working.

You need to use proxies. Google is giving you 403 because of automated queries from your IP.

I find that google will give you pagerank on about 700 sites before it dies. So you can either do 700 and then wait an hour or use proxies.

OK, what is the best place to buy proxies from that allows sb?

why not PM sweetfunny about it, was there really a need to start a new thread???
Will this get you quick support or PMing SF will?

Do not pm sweetfunny but use the support feature as she has problems with getting pms on this site

Sweetfunny normally answers in about 12 hours but make sure you check your spam box also!

Imagine you have people emailing, people pming on bhw even though she has asked not to and also keeping sb updated, not a job I would want!

403 is the forbidden code and simply use proxies, the more the better!

Harvest them until sb stops then test them and import the good ones to sb and then do your stuff, I tend to harvest everytime

Yes, I just bought 10 proxies, but I don't think that is going to be enough actually.

The problem I am currently having is that SB is reporting PR for certain pages, but my tool bar is showing a lower PR. I don't know which one to trust.

Okay and now the thread has officially mutated....

On the first thing, anyone who is getting specific error codes back in sbox should try googling for a list of http error codes. That's all they are - good, old-fashioned, simple http status codes. They can be quite informative.

On the second thing (PR variance), this has been discussed before in other threads - different tools show different PR's sometimes. Welcome to the world of goog and their mysteries.

cant say it better than that

Just wanted to say that I used 10 private proxies and get a lot done with scrapebox with those.
