[School Project] Please answer a few questions

Hello Everyone,

Right now I am working on a project that focuses on people's level of involvement in online communities. One of my main focuses is BHW because it is a massive international community.

I have a few quick questions, that would be awesome if some people could answer:

1. How many hours a day do you spend on BHW? Do you consider it to be work or recreation?

2. How did you end up finding BHW?

3. Have you ever met up with someone from BHW?

4. Do you consider any of your acquaintances from BHW to be genuine friends?

5. If English is not your first language, would you say that your involvement with BHW helped you to improve your English?

I know the questions may seem kind of random, but the argument for the paper is whether online special interest groups (forums, etc.) can be considered to be actual communities or if they are just collaborative networks. Some factors that weigh in this are, level of involvement, friendships, and acculturation. I collected most of information through observation but these are a few more abstract concepts.
