Schema.org and video sitemaps with wordpress

I've been searching all over the internet trying to find the best resources on how to implement schema mark-up in my wordpress blog. the plug-ins i have come across don't really allow you to customize the scripts, and the video sitemap information (that i've read on google webmasters) doesn't really give an example of mass implementation (i have thousands of videos to add). I kind of get mrss, but I'm stuck. Has anybody been able to have success putting the appropriate schemas in your headers? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
