Hi all - wondering if you think there is any benefit in adding CreativeWork schema (i.e. to cut and paste webpage/ article body copy into) in addition to WebPage or Article schema (i.e the Google-recommended properties such as title, author, URL, date published, etc. EXCLUDING properties for the actual content of the webpage) or whether this could be seen as duplicate content by search engines, may slow down page load times and could perhaps be too broad - potentially making it hard for search engines to make sense of?

Essentially wondering whether you recommend adding page content/body copy in schema (and the best approach) or avoid?
Thanks for your help.

I had tried this but it didn't workout for me (niche was related to scrap car) and SERP didn't even went + or - for 3 weeks but the page load speed was increased. Coming to the duplicate content , it didn't count and no flags were raised in GSC.
Hope this will answer your question!

IMO adding CreativeWork schema that duplicates the content of the page may not provide any additional benefits and could potentially cause confusion for search engines -> which results in lower page speed as well

Thanks for the feedback! Did you continue to monitor for longer than 3 weeks? I'm wondering how long before you could reasonably expect to see a change in SERP by adding schema?
