One of my weaknesses is effective social media promotion, and I'm working to build better technique.
I'm looking to find a tool that can effectively post, and repost, new content from my website at defined intervals on my social media accounts. For example, for every post my site creates, I would be looking to publish links to that content on my social media accounts in the following schedule:
Facebook:
Immediate post
Post the next day
post the next week
post the next week
post the next x months
Twitter:
Post immediately
post later that day
post later that evening
post the next x days
post the next x weeks
post the next x months
Google+
Post immediately
post next x weeks
post next x months
This is the general premise I'm shooting for, a means of extending the lifespan of new content. I certainly don't know the ideal means of publishing timings yet, but that's not important to me yet. What I'm looking for is the best tool to schedule this type of posting. Ideally, just something I could plug in an RSS feed for.
I use Massplanner for other, less-scrupulous social media tasks, but don't really feel it offers this capability to the degree I'm looking for. I have high hopes for Hoostsuite, but am a bit overwhelmed by their website's presentation of info on features.
