I do not think he will end up being convicted. This is going to be very hard to convince the jury that he was under u.s. jurisdiction when running the website.
I'm tired of media such as RT (which is a government run news company),making it seem like once he goes to the U.S. he will be sent right to a federal prison for the next 10 years.

I'm glad RT make it sound like that. In this case SHOCK tactics, sensationalism, is what we need to wake people up to the problem.

This case might actually be good for people that own .com domains. It could prove that simply owning a .com and using that .com does not mean your under U.S. jurisdiction. If it is found that it does not mean a person is under U.S. jurisdiction then it will most likely prevent this kind of charges brought against a non u.s. person again.
