heya guys! never really shared much on BHW before, but today i got this totally crazy idea out of nowhere while i was chatting with a pal. so here's giving back to the community.

The idea here is to scare away people from freely exchanging your ebooks on DP, even while your thread is still open.

now, if you are selling, you can assume that there are many members who are hastily sending out PMs to those who posted in your thread, asking to exchange your ebook.

To start with, you can claim that you spotted xx users trying to get your ebook illegally, and that you traced their IPs and got their accounts banned on DP. and you have also sent them a LEGAL notice.

of course, everyone does this. this ain't gonna scare anyone!

Now. get a good anonymous proxy and make a new account on DP. make some posts to make it seem legit.

then go to your own thread with the new id and post some sh*t. curse the OP (yourself). make it sound like u exchanged the ebook for free etc etc....

then, do some more sh*t and get your account banned by the mods (this is the easiest part lol)

now go back with your real identity and post about how u traced that guys IP as well (it was xx.xxx.xxx.xxx, the proxy u used :p ) and got him banned, and have sent a legal notice over....


this oughta scare 'em :D

hey, this is my method. I have done this on 2 of my thread. I can assure you that this does bring down the sharing but It will be shared so accept it.
 
Seems like too much effort for me. In my experience those willing to spend an hour begging to others for exchanges are unlikely to ever fork over the cash anyways.
 
Or how about we all say fuck DP and don't waste our time with these little gay 'ebooks' and all make some real money online? Sounds good? Yeah? thought so

I'm sorry but your an idiot if you think it won't take more then 5minutes, the fact that you go to digital point disgusts me, I don't care how many people there make 30k a month, 1. there forum is ugly 2. its unorganized as fuck and 3. what kind of name is digital point? obviously some moron who thought he was cool made it.

And the fact I'm wasting my time posting for a 2nd time in this thread makes me want to go kill my self. Why post bullshit like this on BHW? It's a waste of time, who want's to waste their time making 2 accounts, doing posts.. in the time you do that, I'll be up 100 or 200 bucks..with little or no effort like this requires.

How's making stupid e-books real money online? any idiot can write up some bullshit how they played with a cows tits and made it big!! for one it isn't long term income, so keep telling your self that, then come message me in 6 months once I'm making a few hundy a day off Craigs list :)

I'm not looking for flame wars, It's 8:30am here and I just woke up to a stupid post to this and I've already made $40 and all I've done was login to my shit, what did you do to make $40? wasted your time posting on Digital Point. You type fast eh? I type 103WPM, Plus, It's what 2009? I'm 19 and I graduated in 2006. So don't try and call me stupid :) and say I can't think noob. I'm done with this post. Like I said message me in 6months when you want to know some real ways to make money online other then stupid e-books that just waste time in the end.


BTW, don't get cocky just because you've been here a big 5 more months then me. How long's it take to write a e book? How long does it take to make a account, how long does it take to post new posts, how long does it take to get a mod to ban you? Exactly more then 5minutes :)

er...how about we stop flaming each other to begin with? :) that ain't gonna get us nowhere.

you have to admit that while you may be making $xxxx a day, there are plenty of newbies who can't make a decent sum online, and many rely heavily on ebook selling, mainly on DP, to fuel their bank accounts.

those are the people this thread is for. not for IM biggies who make too much money each day to care about DP and the thousands of potential buyers over there.

Fair enough, sorry for starting a flame in your threat Oceanz, I just thought I'd prove my point that it takes more then 5minutes..and trust me, it isn't THAT hard to start making more money. :) I've never done E-boooks so it isn't really my place, but from what I've read etc on here about them.

and about the ebooks.. yeh .. i could easily write one in less than 10 minutes... but i usualy do some research before that... and sell something that could really help ;) .. that is the whole point of ebook selling :P

It's funny because I'm 19 year's old and been doing this 2 months and I'm still making more then you..and college? Ooo big deal, maybe if you were in university I MIGHT be impressed, I don't know if you remember but any one with 500 bucks can get into college these days :) so you should be the one who should stop worshiping them selfs :)

And by the way, before you post something against me next time, maybe learn how to spell first, or better yet http://www.spellchecker.net/spellcheck/ :cool: your just making your self sound like a 13 year old boy who hasn't hit puberty yet with those spelling mistakes. College eh? lol sureee.....and you type fast? I bet you do, but you miss every 2nd letter to every word you type.
