I haven't booted up proxy hunter in years, just did recently, so far dropped a few connections, so switch routers & it's running fine.

Just not fast enough & not entirely happy about scanning from home or office connection.

Are their better/faster scanners out now that support private https/socks4-5 proxies that can be run on home/office PC...or on windows virutal accounts at hosting companies.

Also, I'd love to find a scanner that didn't scan IP's sequentially I mean that right there is the giant red flag for any ISP.

I notice proxyfire has a scanning function (but not for xp, does it work on 7?...the SYN option etc.)

If you can hook me up with some good info, I will be posting fresh lists every day. P-Scanning is a hobby of mine!

Old Skool fun!

Also since It's been 2 years, what are the good port to scan, other than the obvious 3128, 80, 8080.

I know that for years I never got a single complaint simply scanning 80/8080 from a home/office cable/dsl ISP. Of course this was years ago. I'm sure the game's changed.

Would love to just have one person catch me up to speed! I'd be more than happy to share my results forever!

are you still into port scanning? I would like to learn this technique
