Hi BHW!

Does anyone have a list of Scandinavian backlinks that you can build for free? Im thinking of profile links, web 2.0, article and link directories and so on.
The thing is that I am building links for my site and will use .com links with english content for my more powerful backlinks as those type of links are vary hard to find in my country, but I dont want to use only that as it would be weird to not have enough links from the region i am targeting with my site.

I don't have such list but I'm sure your competitors are already using some.

Check their backlink profile and get yourself some. : )
 
use ahrefs to track your comp links , and make links over them , its hard to find here !

Yes i have been doing that to some extent, but will keep at it and do more research!
The problem is that they often seem to use other niche sites that they own themself, and i dont mean pbn. If they have a site about lawnmowers they link to their site about refrigerators, and do it like that with alot of sites that all look the same.

But when I think about it that might be good for me as it doesnt seem like a very good longterm plan for them.
 
I have been working on of my client which is a Swedish website. My strategy was to get Swedish backlinks so I started sending emails for guest posts to Swedish bloggers here you can find the list

I work at a Swedish-based SEO firm with clients all over Scandinavia.
Generally speaking, it's quite difficult to find free backlinks in Scandinavia
so your best bet (and what most sites do) is to just purchase backlinks.

Some are really expensive but if you do enough outreach you'll eventually find some sites
which are decently priced.

Which niche are you operating in?
 
Hard task for you
That GEO is really hard to work with. At least, you should have big budget for backlinks. Otherwise, web 2,0 and forums - all you have left. Moreover, once you build 30-50 local backlinks, you will hardly find new domains for this so you will come to paid outreach one day.
Just think about it

Hey! Sorry for the late reply, haven't been online.

If you are working on home decor websites in the nordics you
should be able to buy backlinks from most nordic websites.

Just make a list of you competitors backlinks and then email
those sites and ask what their price is.

It's hard to find free scandinavian backlinks, you can try purchasing backlinks. Its valuable

Free links are basically a waste of time

Sorry, only building this one site at the moment so unfortunatly exchange is not an option. Would have been very interested otherwise.
