So long story short, I got scammed out nearly $500 for a bot that ended up being an older version of something I could have purchased for a tenth of the price. Not only that, but it doesn't work at all. I talked to the person who made the bot and it turns out this person scams a lot of people this way. I sent the money through PayPal as a purchase of goods. What is the best way to go about trying to get my money back. Nothing was physically shipped to me, so should I open a dispute saying that I didn't receive the item, or that I received my item, but it is significantly not as described?
