Scammed on Digital Point. Someone help, please.

This user over at digital point "GeoffreyF67" sold me a Yahoo Answers bot for $200.

The software is so buggy that I fought with it for 2 days before giving up.

I asked him for a refund straght away, and he responds by calling me a loser.

This has been going on for over a week, and there are several others who are unhappy also.

I did a dispute with PayPal, but they instantly sided in his favor due to the goods being intangible. Paypal also refuses to release the address of the seller.

I want to get my money back!

How can I get this guy's full name so I can drag him into civil court?

Any other ideas?

If you paid thru paypal with credit card or bank debit card, just file a chargeback and paypal will have no other choice but to give your money back.

If not, then you might be out of luck!

PM me - I may be interested in buying your software at discounted price. I see that SharePro (well-known BHW guy here) said it works well, even though it has bugs.
 
ok i have an idea for you!! firstly find out if he owns any domain ..he must have posted about that on dp..the check its whois and you will get his name and complete address ..and the all you need is to contact him do whatever with his address may be scam him as he scammed you...
 
Yeah I got scammed there for one of the EADP CL poster that was outdated quite a while back. Never made a post.
 
Give him one more chance to get a refund and mention that without the refund, the program will be posted on BHW. He can either stand behind the program and fix the problems or continue calling you a loser and him be the loser in the long run. It stinks that it comes down to that, but I bet it will teach him and others a lesson when it comes to customer service.

I will not be using it, but share only if he does not refund.

DP used to be nice now it's full of whiners, freebie seekers and jealous half-ass programmers. Want proof? Here's how to do it: Go to the buy and trade sections. Pay attention. Whenever someone posts something for sale that's half decent or nice, the freebie seekers come out of the woods...Can I have a review copy? Is this yours? I saw this for $1 somewhere else. It doesn't work. Notice the number of view per topic versus what actually sells. It's also full of con artists, in my opinion, as evidence by the OP here. As far as I am concerned, I'd stay the hell away from that place. Stay here or use the Warriors. DP sucks.
