Scammed by thesispaper

I posted an ad in the looking to hire subforum about some simple apps that I wanted to get created. We agreed on the 100 dollars for the 4 apps and I paid 53 dollars up front (to cover the paypal fee).

I was told it would take 48 hours. However, after I paid, turns out the money did not land in his account as he was not verified. I was told to do a chargeback and then cancel it and he would get his money. In a lapse of judgement at 5 in the morning, I did this but it did not work. I called in the morning and got them to drop it so he received his money.

It has been now over 2 weeks and no response from him after telling me I will receive them when he gets home from work. I have already gotten the apps created in 24 hours from someone else who contacted me and I would like my 53 dollars back. I am not able to chargeback again on this guy and I noticed he is posting all over trying to get work (and probably just running with the money)

thesispaper has been notified he has 48 hours to respond to this.

Thanks for banning him. I think the lesson learned here is not to have a lapse in judgement just because you want something done fast. Someone pmed me today saying he scammed them as well, really too bad =/

I have been scammed by Jr and people who have good reputation. Its not about how many stars a user has.
