There should be a customer service longevity exam required for selling on BHW. See above for an example. Turning awful when things don't go exactly their way.

I'll make it easy for you... you no longer have to respond here in this thread.

Nothing personal, although you made a weak attempt to make it so with a unimaginative post above, but we are going to part ways now.

@BassTrackerBoats has always had an issue with me (which I've never understood why) and even getting the service off the ground was prolonged because of him.

I'll give you guys a little insight as to why he thinks I have an issue with him.

He was pre-selling his eBook and I gave him a warning for that... typically that level of warning is a 3 month warning and one cannot open a BST if you have an active warning.

A week or so later he applied for a BST and requested that his warning be removed and the removal took a day or two.

Why did I allow the removal of the warning?

We typically do not want to be punitive with the members here if, in our opinion, they get the rule and want to comply; we have the option, but not the obligation to expire or delete the warning and, after looking through his other posts (which took a day or so) I thought he understood things.

I don't lift a warning if the person has a history of rule infractions nor do I do it if the person doesn't come across as if they give a flying flip about following the rules going forward.

I was going to share a screenshot of the early expiration of the warning but in that he is a banned member, that area where one can see that is hidden from the general membership and only seen by the Staff and I'm not sure that it is proper to post that.

His BST is permanently closed and, for those of you that paid for his ebook that he claims he is now going to give away, I'm sorry he ripped you off.

In any event, this SL is resolved to the best of my ability and this thread will remain open.

@BassTrackerBoats forgive me for being foolish, but what do you mean he was "pre-selling" his e-book? I just want to know what that means.

Thanks and well-in for keeping your cool with him, he was arrogant, rude and extremely egotistical!

Pre-selling is advertising that you are about to sell something. The issue with that is people will then try and buy the product or service and it has not been checked by a Marketplace Mod nor has the member paid the requisite 30.00 annual fee to sell.

If one wants to sell on BHW they have to go through one of the Marketplace Moderators so that the community can be assured the product is indeed what is being advertised as well as to ensure that the product has value.

Too right! Thanks for explaining, 100% with you, sounds like he was trying to drum up interest in his item, if the item is good enough then a Marketplace Mods backing for the item should be enough to do that on it's own as far as i'm concerned!

You're one of the most open and chilled guys I see on here, irrespective if you were a Mod or not.
People can't see when they've been given a little leeway to help them along.

Never shit on your own doorstep, is an old saying which sadly he and others do.

Yes, I concur with Mister F, well handled BTB.

It is quite disappointing to see a guy who seemingly was quite respected here, turn into/show his true colours as a super dick head...
