I posted a hire a freelancer gig to develop an app for me, JacksonJ replied that he would be able to do it.
We agreed to $400 total, 50% to start, 50% at completion. I sent him $206 (extra to cover PP fees) on 09-26-2015 along with the source code.
He explained it would take about a month for the app to be re-skinned.
Fast forward 3 months and many excuses later to 12-26-2015 and still no app has been delivered, not even any incomplete files or artwork.
The same day JacksonJ responds that he "stopped working for the holidays" and "its been so long he had forgotten the original price."
He then adds that because he had "problems with the coding", he requires an "extra $100 to continue working and deliver the project"
Then he tries to use his kids/ family as pawns saying that he "has no money spent money on my family and kids."
Class act, right? ^^
I have tried asking the seller to refund me the money directly to no avail and right now I am dealing with a lengthy PayPal dispute.
