As cool as it is publicly taking down a scammer like this. I feel like some of the hard evidence would have been better served not shown to the scammer himself. All you did was show him what he did wrong, so now he knows what not to do the next time.

Unfortunately this guy has had at least 15 accounts on BHW already. He will make more. I think it is better to notify users that people like this exist and hopefully they take precautions when dealing with people.
It won't stop scammers or scamming but if it gives people a reason to think about who they deal with then I think it serves a useful purpose.
A sophisticated scammer won't make those mistakes in the first place but at least if we can stop these clown scammers it will make the forum a better place. By highlighting this guy, I hope the next time he comes along (very soon) then people might recognise him.
This forum is great dealing with scammers and no other forum that I have ever been on takes it shitlist more seriously, the Mods do an exceptional and difficult job but I think we all have a part in trying to keep the forum clean.

I do completely agree that calling out the scammers is good and is needed here, wasn't trying to say otherwise. Just that posting the actual proof so the scammer sees exactly what they did wrong, is just teaching them how to do better next time.

It is the proof that was posted previously that helped identify him this time. If it hadn't been posted publicly he wouldn't have been identified this time.
As I said this guy has had at least 15 accounts, you would expect him to get better at hiding his identity after he burnt the 5th account. Some people are just clowns though.
A dedicated professional scammer won't reveal himself in the same way. Those types of guys are much tougher to crack and usually don't get identified on the forum because they are usually identified by Mods and Admin on the backend.
