I think I made it pretty damn crystal clear that I'm upset that he was banned for his words instead of his scamming actions. What part didn't you pick up from that? And throwing a tantrum? So every time someone voices their opinion that doesn't fall in line with yours you label it as a tantrum? Yeah, that real logical.

Ok. Let's get it straight. If you voice your opinion once, it is opinion.

You shout and repeat the same thing repeatedly, curse people - that just proves that you are immature. That is termed as tantrum.

Secondly, like I said it before, if you ban one member he/she will open another account and start scamming. (Not saying that it won't happen when you don't ban). Additionally banning someone without allowing him/her to speak or justify is not a legit way. Remember in most countries, you are innocent until proven guilty. So, there's no point in banning someone if he/she pleads guilty and stop there.

If however, someone continues to create a fuss, and resort to insults he/she should be banned.

Now, instead of attacking me, frame your arguments in a logical way.

Raise the level of your argument/opinion, not your voice.

He scammed.

He got banned.

He abused a Mod.

That is against the rules.

The Mod let it slide (I know him and if he banned him for Mod abuse he would say so).

You don't want scammers on BHW I am sure.

Neither does the staff.

If you are upset with Jazz, send him a PM and I am 100% sure he will explain things to you.

Otherwise, stop posting in this thread.

Once again, you fail to miss the point. He was only banned after he became insulting. He was NOT banned for his scamming actions. He was allowed to keep his account after he was exposed for scamming. THAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE. What is so goddamn hard to see about that?

I'm sure I'll be banned next for posting in this thread again right? Go ahead. Flex that imaginary power.

That was why he was banned.

What's interesting is how many scam services manage to slip through the net/ or are perhaps allowed in the marketplace. I reported one yesterday, only to get the reply that I should open a ShitList thread, despite asking a mod to review the thread and read how many people other than my self had lodged their concerns that the service being provided was a scam.

My report (as well as another users) was rejected despite me stating that many members were complaining about the scam service. A simple review of the thread would have revealed that. If this wasn't enough for a mod, then why would I go through the hassle of opening a ShitList thread then prove whats going on in the service which is in the marketplace stated as being offered for "free".

Don't even try to reason with these power hungry mods. You'll get nowhere. Just like you said, your SL would be more of a hassle to you because they would make it one instead of simply taking a look at the obvious scam being reported directly to them. But they wanna keep it all safe around here right? Lol...

to fix it, and at this point there was no ban with the scam outed.

it was only after he became abusive the month ban was given.

i believe what lord is saying is shouldnt the ban have dropped the moment the scam was known
and not after only when he became abusive.

We can't handle all complaints via the report system, sometimes we will ask you to submit a shit list or send you a PM for more info/proof.

If you have ignored the instruction to open a shit list, what can we do?

That is EXACTLY what I've been saying. Thank you for breaking it down even though I feel like I did just that over and over and over again in this thread. I didnt want to keep bumping this thread and repeating myself but for whatever reason these mods simply could not grasp the very things you just said. Thank you.
 
This guy was a nightmare. Both times I used his services I had issues with him and when I tried to get them resolved, he went silent. I had to start a dispute both times to actually get things resolved.

The reason Mods don't always ban immediately is that they try to resolve the situation by engaging the member and try to get them to settle any refunds.
@jazzc did a fantastic job in the thread and gave @Debian every opportunity but unfortunately @Debian decided to insult people, that was the reason for the ban I believe, and afaik it is only for a month.

Similarly if you don't wish to act upon report(s) of a service in marketplace, where clearly your forum users are complaining about a service, then what more do you want me to do? It's not my responsibility, I alerted you to the fact, but you decided to look the other way.

The scammer should have been banned IMMEDIATELY after the refunds were given. He wasn't banned for scamming members. That, in itself, is RIDICULOUS and UNETHICAL. He only banned him when he felt insulted and the scammer ran his mouth too much.

Like you said, he's not even really banned! He can come right back here in 30 days and run another scam!!! The hypocrisy and walking contradictions with these power tripping Mods is un-fucking-believable. I can't even begin to imagine being scammed by this guy and knowing that he will be allowed to stay here and will be back in a month. WOW. Just....WOW. Very revealing about the culture and attitude within the Mods.

And again, insulting or offending a Mod is NOT grounds for a ban anyways. He has every right to defend himself and point out any flaws that he feels about the way the process was handled whether he is right or wrong. He got banned because the Mod got personally offended. PERIOD.

I don't really think he was scamming people intentionally. I just think he has a difference of opinion of what is acceptable.

Like when I order articles from "Native writers" who are quite clearly not, is it exactly scamming. Cause if so I can show you many accounts that need banning.

Did you read my post. Let me say it again. I think what he finds acceptable and what others find acceptable may differ in opinion.

If I buy an article from someone and it's complete garbage quality. Does that mean they scammed me? Or just shoddy work?
