Scammed by AdvancedDevelopment

I hired AdvancedDevelopment to program a multithread bot for me and he turned out to be the worst person I have ever worked with. He made many fake promises and ended up disappearing leaving me with unfinished software. He also forced me to pay through Paypal gifting which I regrettable agreed as now I am unable to dispute any charges.

I wanted to post this for all those out there who are considering going with this guy, just look at the conversation log that I posted. Trust me, it was terrible. I am out over $1000 with no bot and no correspondence as to what happened. The last time I heard from him was over a week ago where he claimed to be finished and was going to send my software over in a one hour.

I realize this has been more than 48 hours but the accused member has not been on BHW since it was posted and I want to give him/her a little more time in that there is a fair amount of money involved.

AdvancedDevelopmentUK, Liam, is not a scam. He has delivered work to me before with great quality. Liam is currently working on a software for me as we speak. He has not been able to get online for the last week because his mom just passed away. Don't conclude any assumptions of such because a program was not delivered to your hands on time. If you rush the work, you will get a shitty program. Simple as that.

Going to follow the rules and reply to this as professionally as possible although the fact this buyer has made this thread has actually to be laughed at considering the amount of bending over backwards ive done for him as I try to do with all my clients.

However your claims of me being the worst person you have ever worked with and leaving you with unfinished software are you for real? With your requests and constant changes to the software which I was developing for you on the daily for more or less no charge its always going to be imcomplete in your eyes. Constantly changing what platforms you wanted the software to use etc. I sent you atleast 3 copies of the software you paid for using different platforms which worked 100%.

He also forced me to pay through Paypal gifting which I regrettable agreed as now I am unable to dispute any charges. - Yet another false accusation, I have never forced anyone to pay me through Paypal as a gift, please post some evidence to back this lie up.

This SL thread is a joke to be totally honest and full of lies. The fact your even denying ever recieving the bot from me shows the type of mindset you have.

MODS - If you need anything else from me or want to see this software working on teamviewer or whatever just let me know, I will be more than happy to do anything possible to have this removed and prevent ruining future business with new potential clients and current.

Could you post the conversations you had with him related to this?

Ive got literally days upon days of conversation with this guy some of which not even relevant to this thread.

Heres a screenshot of the software i created for him being tested and him confirming it works and the fact he was happy with it.

@ronald8755 - is this screen shot accurate or do you dispute that you are saying that the software is working in that bit of conversation?

I developed the software he required then day in and day out he always had different requirements wanting to use it on other websites/forms when the original software was hardcoded to work on his website for his mailing list only like we agreed from the very start. His next complaint was the fact he had to do this on large volume and couldnt scrape enough proxies(100k daily) and wanted a service integrated. Still this didnt effect the usability of the software as ultimately its down to the client to get his own proxy lists and such.

This whole thing is a pain in the ass, I went out my way to help this guy on multiple occasions and now its coming accross to me that his intentions is to force his way into being refunded for a service hes received by tarnishing my name.

Going to keep this short and let the evidence speak for itself. Here is a time line of our interactions with "AdvancedDevelopment". Please note, we paid for two projects with Advanced Development, the first one went fine, the second one has never been delivered, nor refunded.

May 10th: Posted on the BHW forum looking for someone to help with a scraping bot. Selected Advanced Development since he had good rep and seemed like a nice guy. Sent him $326 via PayPal as a gift so that he could access the money faster, since we are American and he is located in the UK.
May 12: Expected delivery. No deliver, no contact
May 17: Delivered, the script did not initially work as expected. With tweakings from both our end and advanced development, it eventually worked after going back and forth about licenses. We were led to believe that we were paying for the code in it's entirety, he tried to say that all we would get is a license. Eventually, he agreed to give us a keygen to the work so that we could run it on mutiple virtual computers.
May 21st: The script did not work with the application we needed as we needed to up the amount of proxies we were running through it. So we agreed to work with Advanced development again. If you look in the convo log, we even said that our only issues is that he delivers late and does not communicate with us to let us know. This time, he promised 48 hour delivery.
May 23rd: 48 hours later...No delivery. Advanced Development offered $50 bucks for being late, we said not to worry about it, as long as he delivers.
May 26: No contact again until the 26th.
June 5th: No contact again until the 5th. Advanced Development was upset that we put him on blast. No contact thereafter, also no deliver, also no refund.

At the end of the day, we don't mean to be petty. It's one to be late and we understand that - that's why we agreed to work with Advanced Development again and even told him to keep the $50 he promised us. We agreed to send him money as a PayPal gift so that he could get it sooner. However, when days go by without a single word of contact, nor any progress updates and that eventually leads to us simply having no product. It feels like a scam to me.

TLDR - Advanced Development delivered part I ($326). We needed changes to the code and agreed to $750. We now neither have the code nor our money back. Just ask him, if he delivered the second part of our deal.

@AdvancedDevelopment - you posted a tiny part of the convo and the balance, according to what @ronald8755 seems to indicate he really never got the project completed.

Posting just that tiny part was an unappreciated move by me on your part.

Read the convo that @ronald8755 shared in the imgur link and point out where he got what he paid for as well as show me where what he posted was not accurate.

I also expect you to be 100% on this and not give part of an answer as what you posted above is pretty disappointing.

I think I've waited well past what is fair in terms of time for him to respond and his response above where he indicates that the project was delivered and working properly left out the balance of the conversation that indicated it was not completed to the satisfaction of the OP.

I gave a bit more leeway in terms of time because this is a fair amount of money and @alexel stated that his Mother had passed and that he was a legit guy (Maybe look at your relationships a tad closer @alexel) yet he fails to address this nor respond to my messages to him.
