Scammed $4500 on flippa What should I do

Am one of those people that thought I can't be scam I have been working Really hard in the past to make money I saw a site on flippa I though wow it's the site is making over 1k and it's Real the seller asked me to send half payment first when he set up Everything then I send the Rest it took me 8 days to make decition to trust him as he has sold over 40 sites all good Ratings he send the site files after I send him the money and shortly and then the domain was listed on Sedo for sell he stopes replying my email I did a charge back explaining everything to paypal but it looks like he will win as am not covers by paypal policy because it's Digital Omg what should I do ?

You didn't make sure he transferred over the domain and it resolved before you sent him the final payment?? :confused:
 
Yes he Asked me to set a name.com Accout first I did and I never got it
 
Yeah I should have used escrow but that's too late now
 
I think you should ask from flippa support, me be they will help you.
 
Smh, yes get Flippa involved ASAP however they are a bunch of aholes too so you may not get too far! But its worth a try. Do you happen to have a Paypal Account Manager? If so, give them a call directly. I agree with others - always use escrow. I feel your pain really! :(
 
Call the Police and let him know that. If he is from USA, he will panic as you have a proof of the payment and you need only the domain and the website and not your money back in the top of that.
 
Forget PayPal or Flippa to help you, just ask your bank/credit card issuer to chargeback the payment.. I was scammed as well on Flippa in past and PayPal told me the same thing "digital blah blah shit".. trust me, this is your only option and it works 100%.
 
First of all, post the sellers profile link here so everyone would know about it. Contact paypal through phone and tell them about you situation, contact Flippa about it so they can hold that guys account. Sorry about that but you should have waited for the full transfer before sending payment and ofcourse, you should have used Escrow (facepalm)
 
I agree with others. If nothing works, call your bank or credit card issuing bank and ask to chargeback. It's the best resort you could adapt at such times. And one should never think that he won't get scammed. Always be cautious. Not using escrow was the biggest mistake. 50 or 100 bucks gone are far more better and well spent on Escrow rather than losing it altogether.
 
Thanks guys Flippa told me that the seller told them am the one who list the Domain on Sedo they Said he send them proof which they can't share with me I think he is an experience scammer son of a bitch and @lord1027 fuuuuck you basterd we'll I did roll over and cry stupid useless human being if you can't contribute don't post shit that will piss me Off
 
As the others said look to do a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Paypal doesnt often put up a fight with a bank or card company.
 
If a site is making 1k+ per month and is expected to do so in the future, I'd never sell it for 4500$ and I don't think anyone would. All the "I need money fast for another project" or "my sister needs a new liver" excuses are a total crap in 99% cases.

the $4500 was the half payment after full setup i will send him the remaining and the traffic is due to the domain name very catch with tons of traffic i will call my bank in the morning to see what they can do
 
If that guy's info from any of the WHO IS is publicly available or anywhere if you can find, it's a bonus. As a last resort if chargeback doesn't work, make a police complaint (yes I am serious) and when he will get a phone call or be knocked at house and be greeted by those gentleman, then he may realize how much of an idiot he was to scam someone off.
