Scamadviser.com - How to Boost Trust Score

Hey,

I was wondering if any of you have experience of boosting your site's score on ScamAdviser.com.

I know this site isn't legitimate, but some customers tend to check it, and it shows up in Google results.

Do you have any idea how to boost the score or maybe block the site via Cloudflare, etc.?

ScamAdviser pulls its score from a bunch of automated signals - domain age, hosting country, SSL, social media presence, contact info visibility, traffic volume. You don't need to "game" it, just fix the actual signals it checks.

Things that move the score up: older domain obviously helps, make sure your whois has real contact info not hidden behind privacy, add a physical address on your site, link your social media accounts that have some history, get listed on legitimate business directories. ScamAdviser literally checks if you have a Facebook page with followers.

Blocking it via Cloudflare is counterproductive - if they can't crawl you the score drops even lower or shows as suspicious. Let them crawl.

The fastest thing that actually works is getting mentioned or reviewed on other sites. Third party references tell ScamAdviser the site is real.

Thanks for the suggestions. You are right, that the older domains dont have this issue. Will try to tweak it a bit.

Any experience how to then "update" the score once you implement the changes? I guess they allow you to scan the site like once a month or something

Yeah they have a "request review" button on your site's ScamAdviser page, you can submit it manually after making changes. Don't just wait for them to recrawl on their own, it can take months.
The trick is make all your changes first before requesting the review — social profiles live and active, address on site, directories done. Don't request review after fixing one thing, do everything then hit the button once. You basically get one good shot at a clean rescan.

Dude, trying to game scam adviser is kinda chasing ghosts since it's a black box with arbitrary logic, and honestly, your best bet is just focusing on building actual trust with great service and real customer reviews on platforms that actually matter. Blocking them won't solve the core issue of some users looking for red flags, so just make your real site undeniably legit
