I signed up to binaryaffiliates.com (Binary Affiliates) and sent them some traffic in December, enough to qualify for a payout. They say they pay on the 15th for the previous month, but no payout so far and they haven't replied to emails. I'll update this thread if they pay, but right now it's looking like a scam program and I would avoid them.

    Dear Autumn and Xictus,

I manage affiliates on behalf of BA. Can you please send me your username, so we can verify what happened? All the affiliates I manage always get paid. I want to make sure this case is clarified and solved. Thanks!

Hello! I will send you a private message once the system allows me to.

All the affiliates I manage have been paid on time, otherwise they would have mentioned that to me :) I asked to my team, and no one has pending payments. We checked for Dec. 12 and Jan 13 as well, we did not find anything.

If you have questions or comments, please post them here or send me a private message. If I do not hear from you, I have to assume the case is solved, and the original post has not been updated since.

    THANKS!

BTW, check the CPAs on our site (Autumn already mentioned the full url) and be amazed :) We also have brands which are available (to affiliates) by invitation only. Write me through our support, or drop a message here if you have any questions. Thanks!

The title of this thread is misleading. He THINKS they are a scam, calls them a scam on the title. Not good, until proven.

We have a rep here giving active feedback. IMO thread should be edited.

BA did eventually get back to me, weeks and weeks after the supposed payout date with a "we'll look in to it" response. They got back to me a while later after that and told me that all my signups were fraud and that they weren't going to pay me. I have promoted dozens if not hundreds of affiliate programs and have never ever had a problem with fraudulent traffic since all of my traffic is targeted organic SE traffic with no nasty shit added to the mix. I wrote it off and moved on. I'll let others decide whether the word "scam" is appropriate here, but in any case IMHO binaryaffiliates is not a good target for your financial traffic.

Did they provide any info on why they think the signups were fake?

I'm in this niche Autumn, if you are still promoting these offers then check out RushBucks they own the TradeRush offer and approached us when they seen our site ranking, we gave them a shot after trying a few others which didn't work out, never had any problem with payments from RushBucks.

No, although to be fair most affiliate programs wouldn't give any info in a case of suspected fraud because you don't want to give scammers any info about fraud detection methods.

However I'll add that they didn't ban me from the program which is what you would normally do with a fraudulent affiliate. They left if open to me to send more traffic, but they just didn't want to pay me for the joins I'd already sent.

Thanks t0mmy, I didn't really end up pursuing this niche but I'll give them a try!

    Hello!

Thank you all for sharing your views and for providing additional information. I invited a member of our team to investigate this in more details. Autumn, if you can msg me your username, that would speed-up the process. While I am aware one cannot prove a negative, the more supporting information you can add - if you like to do so - the easier it is for me to understand what happened and to share my opinion with the other members of our team.

    Thanks!

Hello Autumn! If you are interested in having me to look into what happened in Dec. 12 / Jan. 13, please let me know. One important clarification: while I do not know what you were told, because to check that I would need your username, we do not accuse affiliates of being fraudulent, unless there are evidences. Reading between the lines, I suspect your traders turned out to be not genuine according to our clients. If that is the case, yes, those CPAs are reversed. That happens with every affiliate program, no one pays for traders which are not traders.

However, this alone does not mean the affiliate is committing fraud. Maybe his site started to circulate on certain forums etc. and those "traders" started to target the binary option platforms.

I believe it is fair you receive all the info we can provide about this case. And, if you were labelled as a fraudster without any evidence, I apologize for that. At the same time, if your account is still active, it is likely your manager made the distinction between the traders - which turned out not to be traders - and you as an affiliate.

Also, considering your first message has been clearly optimized for SEO purposes, I believe that - once you get the information - it is fair you consider to edit it. You did not get paid, and you were told why. That is not a scam, as I mentioned no affiliate program/network pays for sales which are not genuine, which it seems to be the case here. After I can verify what happened, we can tell you what we know about this case, and take any corrective action on our side, if necessary.

If/when you send me your username, please let me know if you want to discuss the details in public (if we can) or if you prefer to get updates by email or private message. THANKS!

The fact that they didn't ban you is an important indicator. Looks like they made some money off of you and wanted you to continue....

Hello everyone! I have not heard back with a username etc. to verify what happened. I understand that you consider the case closed or that you do not want to dedicate additional time to this. If you change your mind, please contact our support with your username, and we will verify again what happened.

As a rule of thumb: each affiliate program, being binary or not, pays only for real sales. Based on the limited information I was able to read on this forum, the affiliate was told his traders were not genuine. No program pays for clients which turn out not to be genuine.

This does not mean the affiliate is trying to scam the program, it just means we do not get paid for leads which are not genuine, so we cannot pay a CPA for them.

    Hope it clarifies. THANKS!
