Why do people still believe in it? I saw a proposal to double the amount of transaction in crypto currency, but this is a real scam. Or am I wrong?

There are some scams in the name of crypto but crypto overall is not a scam.

FIAT is the biggest scam, but hey you use it every day. Everything with a price is most likely linked to FIAT. Gold Linked to FIAT. Crypto linked to FIAT.
Your theory and everyone's theory that Crypto is a scam defaults to the fact our LIFES are also scam and everything we know and exist and co-exists is a scam.
Even the basic laws to keep us in order are scams, but hey we do follow them, and if not we get punished for it.
