I have now been content writing for 2 years and get steady orders from Fiverr. In all I have completed around 230 orders, all with 5 star reviews.

Problem I have is scaling up. I know I have a good product and I can handle multiple orders but I can't seem to get any orders other than Fiverr. Until now I have created my own website, used different type of ads to promote as well as utilised various platforms but all I get is an order every now and again.

Appreciate if you can help with ideas on how to get more clients and scale up my content writing service.

Thanks

Can you be a little bit more specific? Where have you purchased ads and what platforms have you used?

Content writing is always in demand if you are providing decent job. It would be good to have a thread right in this forum. If you do good, they will become your regular client, for example I outsource all my writing from a person whom i ordered once in fiverr

You an try optimizing your gig on Fiverr - maybe you can get more sales? Or maybe you can increase your prices a little bit seeing as you have a very well established gig and offer a great service by the sounds of it (Seeing as you said you have all 5 star ratings).

Aside from that, if fiverr has done you well then why not do the same thing on some other freelancing sites. Keep in mind you might need to modify your strategy, I am not familiar with the other freelancing sites but I guess for each one it will have different rules, different tactics that work well and also you might need to modify your pricing and/or offering to compete with the sellers on each platform.

Lastly, as said above, why not look at becoming a paid member on blackhatworld and launching your own sales thread here? If you are offering a decent service, great quality and a fair price then you can grow a nice business here content writing.

You could reach out to some small to medium size blogs, and offer to write them a couple of articles, in exchange for a backlink to your site.
Then just move up the ladder, and write for big blogs, by profiling your experience on the previous blogs.

Sorry for the late reply but thanks for all the feedback. I probably will sign up as a paid member and see how it goes.

Most of the articles are outsourced and than passed through my personal quality control where I would amend as necessary in order to maintain high standard.
