Hey guys,

I’ve been running a dating offer for a while and managed to find a setup that sometimes works well. The issue is consistency — the same funnel/traffic source combo can be profitable for a few days, then suddenly drops to breakeven or even zero.

Problem: The performance is unstable. No clear pattern — same setup, same geo, but results fluctuate a lot.

As you know, unclear rules lead to inconsistent results. In my opinion, you should break down your campaigns into smaller ones and alternate between them, retaining the good results and eliminating the ineffective ones.

This is very common in Facebook advertising, especially with fast-dating funnels. A funnel might be profitable for 3–5 days and then plummet even without any changes. The cause is usually not a single factor but a combination of variables in the advertising system.

1. Learning phase reset
2. Creative fatigue
3. Audience saturation
If the target is too narrow, the audience will become saturated quickly.

4. Auction volatility
5. Changing traffic quality
6. Insufficient pixel/conversion data
7. Slow landing page loading

That setup probably never was "stable", it was just surviving until fatigue, auction shift, or traffic quality slapped it.
Dating is like that - if you want consistency, rotate creatives fast, split test smaller, and stop trusting a 3-day green streak like it's a real system.

Inconsistent performance on Meta Platforms is often due to algorithmic learning, audience saturation, or ad fatigue; solutions include: segmenting the audience, testing creatives, monitoring frequency, and adjusting budget/bids.

Performance fluctuations on Meta Platforms are often due to optimization algorithms, bidding competition, or audience saturation; this can be remedied by testing creatives, segmenting the audience, and monitoring impression frequency.

That’s pretty normal in dating tbh.
Even with the same funnel and geo, performance can fluctuate a lot because:
  • traffic quality changes daily
  • competition/bidding shifts
  • ad fatigue kicks in faster than you think
  • backend (offer payout / conversion rate) isn’t stable
What worked for me is not relying on a single setup. I usually rotate creatives and test slight variations constantly to smooth things out.

don’t rely on a single setup for long, constant testing, creative rotation, and gradual scaling are key for stable ROI.

Focus more on ad creative strategy, try to combine both static ads, long ad copy style ads with image from nano banana, ai video ads. with the Andromeda update you should always have diversity in your creatives
The issue is that I already have a creative that performs well—basically, I’m buying a lead for $8 and earning $12–16 from it.
However, I’m unable to scale it while maintaining profitability.

Have you tried cost caps, this way you can scale while controlling the cost per lead. or try to scale vertically accross many ad accounts
you mean cpl? or bid cap

Innovate your content and campaigns; it helps you assess their shortcomings and make corrections.

This is partly due to Facebook's system
