Scaled NSFW Re-uploads

Revamped a little to handle a different monetisation strategy. Testing begins for that today.

Added another tube site into the mix. More traffic and more diversity. Cost me a chunk of time unfortunately because different sites have different requirements and I'd forgotten to account for that properly. Might have got another tube site added or maybe even a few hours off if I hadn't fucked that up.

Should be sorted now, just waiting for some test results to be sure.

On track to hit 200 hops for the day which is cool. Still not worth anything yet but good to see it growing and I have a lot more coming. If nothing goes sideways I'm hoping to hit the first milestone this week. I've been around long enough to know better though so either moderation starts causing issues or the traffic drops off for some other reason no doubt. There's always a learning curve.

Yep, already covered thanks. I'm tracking which niches bring in what traffic numbers and I'll go looking for specific offers and split test when it's worth the effort. For now I still have to scale to get the traffic numbers up and Chaturbate is just an easy option.

I'll be running some traffic to a dating offer as well from today but that's also just going to a generic smart link for now until I see a specific niche generating enough traffic.

Not really thinking about conversions until the traffic is way higher and consistent.

I'm not even checking for profit until the traffic is way higher. I'm only looking for traffic numbers so I can gauge which tests are bringing in traffic.

Making some pretty big changes to the setup today. It can handle more videos in less time and added a new content source for a little diversity between accounts. Also improved the metrics of the videos to (hopefully) improve their views and fixed a few stability bugs.

Trying to avoid scaling too much into a single site at the moment until I know what moderation is going to be like. Otherwise, I'd be scaling a lot quicker at the moment. The growth slowed down yesterday. Just under 200 hops for the day and it's looking about the same so far today. I have no idea what to expect next since I have no frame of reference but I'm going to leave it be and I'd be happy if it could end the week on 500/day.

Taking the evening off today. Tomorrow I'll be reworking the social traffic as well to see how that goes.

Some good news and bad news.

Bad news first of all.

Discovered a pretty severe bug with the code which was causing a big dip in video quality. Has been corrected now but I really wish I'd spotted it sooner. It's produced some crap videos on some accounts and lost me a days worth of encoding. Not much in the scheme of things - but not great.

Traffic also dipped yesterday at only 127 hops. Obviously, there's going to be some variance in traffic and especially to begin with but that's not great.

On the good news I tested a little with the social media side of things and hit about 15,000 views within the first hour and the method would be very scalable. The downside is this resulted in about 11 hops to the URL. Obviously, the CTR is always going to be low from this but I'm going to have to experiment with the call to action and scale that in order to make it worthwhile.

I would like to do the same too, but finding quality videos and account issues taking up lots of my time.

Some more details in your traffic getting methods would be useful to the community.

Automation is not the key to earning big money with this method. It's actually the opposite. All the people I know earning $100+ a day doing this method are doing it manually.

I also know someone who has it fully automated, as it scrapes videos, watermarks them, and reupload the videos all by itself. His workload is literally nothing other than to make sure its running. It's literally uploading videos to tubes 24/7, and he makes nowhere close to what they're making. And the ones doing it manually only upload a few a day.

Too make things easier, and have a probability of being successful, you should try and connect with individuals you know already doing the method so you can gain some valuable dos and don't. Good luck!

Yea that's definitely also the case with most other things/platforms, Pinterest for example.

So there's a missing ingredient that makes manual re-uploading (if you know what you're doing obviously) tens of thousands of times more profitable per video uploaded, compared to automatic. Wonder what it is!

Either the manual guys actually bring some sort of value to the market (making good compilations, uploading obscure stuff that would otherwise not be seen, etc), or they've discovered how to game the algo of the site they upload to very well, to give their vids distribution.

Knackered this morning.

Bit demoralised I lost a day worth of encoding and some of the videos were shitty quality. Nothing I can do about that now though so it's fixed up and back up and running. Got a busy weekend ahead so I'm not sure how much I'll get to work on this I might just leave it running for a couple of days.

15k views on the video not 15k traffic to the offer. It's got a few dozen hops to the offer from those views but that's nothing to write home about. I'll do some work on it when I get the chance but I'll have to rethink the call to action.

Appreciate the input guys. It does have a manual element to the system as well which finds and filters content and there's a web front end for a VA to go through before it uploads anything but I've not got any accounts set to use that part of the system yet. I'm feeling pretty confident that the part I added yesterday is a pretty unique twist however, and entirely automated.

I'm working on the algorithm at the moment. There's some parts working and others needing working still.

I don't personally know anyone doing this method so there's nobody to reach out to. No different to pretty much every other method though. I'll figure it out through looking at other accounts and banging my head off a table until it works.

Just a small update today.

Traffic is up - broke the 200+ mark yesterday. Video quality is up and I made a few tweaks to improve that further. Account bugs are ironed out. I suspect I'll lose a chunk of my existing accounts after the mess it made but it's sorted going forwards.

I've got other work this weekend so I won't get a chance to do much on this project. I'm not sure what I'd really do at this point though.

The test I ran on social traffic got around 70k views and a few dozen hops. I could scale that to make it bigger and more consistent but it doesn't seem massively worth it. Maybe with a better call to action. Or any kind of call to action this thing was literally just a watermark. I'll try and remember to test that on Monday.

I've done some work in gaming the metrics for the videos. There are definite results so far in the tests I've ran so I could work on that some more.

Then there's the obvious - adding more accounts, sites and content sources.

I think I'm going to leave this project for a week though. I want to see if it's a cumulative thing and if the traffic continues to grow.

Traffic growth again for yesterday 250+ visits.

Still just leaving the tubesites running. Looking at a few small changes to increase the video production but not doing anything major with it until we break that 1k traffic mark.

I think I've mentioned here before - I have a pretty simple theory when it comes to reverse engineering a business or method. If someone's doing something consistently they're either making money from it or they're idiots, and idiots tend to give up after a while.

I spotted someone running an interesting Twitter bot in the niche and it's pretty clear it's working well for them.

I haven't really looked at Twitter before but it's not going to take much to replicate their system. A couple of hours coding and a couple of accounts to test it out. Not expecting overnight results from it but worth split testing compared to the tube sites.

Probably won't be until the next week however.

I'd bet he once wasn't that good of a coder too With every new project you learn and increase the range of stuff you can technically do. And if you don't start small today then you surely won't be able to do tomorrow what @SEOMadHatter is doing

I've got a bit of a hangover and a day trip today so I'll likely be off till tomorrow when the work on social traffic continues.

Honestly, I've said this a bunch of times before. I don't suggest learning to code for this kind of thing I waste too much time tweaking code and building new shit rather than actually working on projects. I suggest confirming a method works then paying or JVing with a coder. They're a dime a dozen if you know what you want them to do.

Another mixed news morning.

Let's start with the good:

The first couple of leads on the rev share account started. Still not really comparing anything until we get the traffic way higher but it's always a good sign.

I've put a rough Twitter bot live. It's an ugly start but should be enough to leave running for a few days and test the method out. That could be an entire traffic method in itself but I'll see how it goes.

And the bad:



I mean... it's not so much "bad" as "pretty much expected you tit." Didn't hit the 1k a day level for the first week. Who's surprised? Show of hands?

Alright, not a huge deal. There's a bunch of things I really need to do with this.

Next steps:

Keeping an eye on the Twitter bot and testing the Reddit variation out. Shouldn't take too much work to test out then I'll work on the proper automation if it looks like it's going to work.

Going to take a quick break after that to work on another project a little then tonight I'll come back to the tube sites. I want to do a little tidying up just to keep it running efficiently and I've a few changes in mind to improve things. I might look at adding a new tube site tonight but that might be left for tomorrow, depends how long I'll get.

The Twitter test was a flop so far. Going to make a couple of changes today and run it again.

The other social test was more interesting. One video got almost 200,000 views. Which is a bit crazy when you think about it. The clickthrough from the watermark was next to nothing so I changed tact and went again. The second version got a few dozen hops after 2k hits. Still low but automatable, scalable and with a few tweaks to the method it could work better.

I'm going to need to write the code for this anyway for other projects so I'll maybe get that done today.

On the tube site front, we've had a dip in traffic. Sat around 150~ yesterday and about 50 of that was probably from social. Generated a few leads on CB but obviously, we're far from the 1k goal. That's fine. It happens.

Looking at a couple of bugs today which is making the system slower than expected. Going to need to check through the accounts as well and make sure everything is still alive there. Might just be it's going to take longer to build towards the 1k/day and the spikes before that were just certain videos doing better than expected.

Lost some of the accounts which were just reposting videos. Not a massive surprise and explains the drop in traffic which has been building back up.

There's a couple of things I want to try and do to improve on the growth. A bug which slows down the encoding time needs fixing then I'm going to spread a smaller number of videos over a larger number of accounts.

Also looking at improving the title quality to pick up more views per video and scaling the server a bit to speed up growth.

Not sure how much of this I'll get done this week however since I've a few other projects I need to give time to at the moment.

Added in some better detection for losing accounts and some improvements on replacing them. Testing some aged accounts but providers can be more of a headache than they're worth. Most accounts are fine but issues with a small number so far.

Been redoing a lot of my hosting set up this week so, of course, that means there have been issues and delays going on. We're looking a lot more scalable now and on Monday I should have the video production at least doubled.
