So I am considering switching to a VPS (works great on my 100mb connection but I am afraid I am going to get the charter banhammer for all the bandwidth, its a lot), my question is (and I searched and didn't the answer) can I migrate my SB to a VPS? If so what are the procedures involved?

Hy.

Here is how you should do.

First get a windows VPS, I currently use one from altinsoft (altinsoft.net) one from UK. They call them VDS witch is the same.

They have great VPS, well contained and more then that they also offer a 1Gmb/s connection witch is very important.
Take one with windows server 2008 R2

After you get the VPS then login using their control panel and activate the remote desktop connection.

After this connect to the VPS using RDP.. copy the folders that you need.... Look in the option tab and you will figure it out how to set it up.

After you copy your SB folder open SB and in you will that your license will not activate...
To activate/transfer license fill the field with your previous license date (name/email/transaction ID) and click activate....

After this it will take a while (a few hours) and you will receive an email that your SB license was transferred and then you can use it.

Here are some good information about how to set up your VPS:
