After a long and some would say illustrious career, I have decided to hang up my black hat and say goodbye to making money online.

Some of you may have read my posts here and I hope that you found my input useful.

The main reason for this change is that (as I see it) unless you have 18 hours a day to spare and a genius idea, you are not going to change or even enhance your lifestyle by trying to make money online.
After 5 years of internet marketing and after many thousands of my own money invested I have managed to get to the point where I could just about earn enough to support myself and my family. In the UK this amount needs to be more every day with constantly soaring prices and higher taxes.
I've been there, seen it, done it online. £1,000 a week (in the beginning) when I was using adwords were common place, but as goog adwords started to get greedy I saw my profits diminish.
I've had offices - even employees - freelancers - the lot.
My message here is simple, to anyone even considering quitting the day job and pursuing a career online be very careful and think it through long and hard. Be sure that those weeks when you didn't earn 'that much' are enough to support you financially, as they may become common place.

To those nay sayers who will say that you've got to move with the times - I did and worked with 'gurus'.

To those reading the posts on here as well - especially noobies - take everything you read here with a large pinch of salt.

If you see an idea or product that sounds too good to be true just say to yourself - if it was that easy to make money wouldn't everyone be doing it?

So thats my ramble - my last ever.

I am off to pastures new rejoining the rat race repairing CNC machines (lathes, milling machines etc) and loving it. Different places every day, different people to meet, the outside world! And a regular income!

To those here who have supported me in the past and all members I truly do wish you all the luck and success in the world.

    jonny110 signing off.

    Good bye.

Truth is IM is not for everyone. I do believe that everyone can make it in this game. And no "magical" skills or ideas are needed.

But it is not for everyone.

Hope you find success and happiness in your future (Y)

Well, just like any career, everyone isn't going to have the knack for it.

If you've had a reasonable amount of success, and still wasn't able to use what you learned from that to find other ways to continue making money, then IM jsut might not be the best career choice for you.

Good luck in whatever field you decide to pursue next.
