Well in my point of view, you never know when a saturated method can spark an idea for yourself or just adding a different twist may make it work fresh.

completely agree on this one. But i guess OP is just looking for fresh methods as he doesnt even think of using a single brain cell

I did re-up in 2015 and made money. I stopped completely.
I started again re-up last month and made over $1000 in less than a month.
It's a 4 year old method but it still work. Just not for lazy people waiting for step by step direction.

Maybe giving up to soon? Choose a method and niche, work with it until you know it inside out and add a different spin. I've rinsed methods and niches long after they were used and abused by the masses, just got to tweak and put the hours in. Problem with most comes from giving up too soon and jumping from one method to the other, devoting little time or energy into any single thing and then complaining they can't make money.

I think the fundamentals haven't changed much. Most of the methods that don't work anymore are pure black hat ones. You take a punt with it and make hay while it lasts. If you are looking to build an online asset, the methods you employ are still going to be the same, like 5 years ago. Of course, algo changes and increased competition would make your job harder to do and longer to complete...but the fundamentals are the same.
You can still pick an evergreen niche today and make it work for you in the long run. Yes, it would take longer but it would work. Problem is, many of us are punch drunk on instant results given by BH methods, that we get disillusioned when given a prospect of long, hard work. That was my problem too, before I decided to buckle down to do some hard yards.
