ever heard of a programer implementing bogus code even in open source ?

There are hundreds of possibilities you kid are even unaware of.You just need to control the main dev and you control the coin even if its open source.

Monero is known for a long time not to be anonym at all.
First of all you use the internet they know who is making the transaction by 99.9% .They implemented a hidden control function people are unware of
Secondly the DEV from Monero has been arrested by MI5 and implemented bogus tracking code which he denies but everyone who had to deal with a bigger coin knows how this goes.

Sounds wild! I'm not sure I buy into it, though. The mystery of Satoshi has been going strong for years, and I doubt HBO is the one to crack it. But I guess we’ll see!

You would need to understand the legal frame under which each institution works.IRS has no authority over the MI5 to demand data.
And the solution for US works diffrently and is by law currently ilegal which means it can't be used as evidence.
Which doesn't mean it won't be allowed to be used in the future as evidence

Apparently, HBO was able to find the true identity of the creator of Bitcoin and they're 'exposing' him in their new documentary. Personally I think it's BS - HBO couldn't even find a good ending to game of thrones and now they found Satoshi? Something isn't adding up.
