SAPE was hit in 2.0

Seeing some huge deindexed numbers. Im sort of shocked considering a lot of the sites were hacked/legit sites. Anyone else?

I'm hearing the same thing from some friends who have been hit.

SAPE sites are mostly stable in ranking only those got hit with lots of deindexed links

i lost most of my rankings i never used any sape links till now

Top site in my niche uses only sape links he is still on top

Not really. I'm seeing a lot of sites build almost only on SAPE links and they do great. Some even got #1 after this update ! I never used SAPE and i was thinking that this update will handle this but it seems that they still work

Not all Sape sites were hit, thing is Google actually deindexed some part of Sape network couple of weeks back and if your backlinks were from those deindexed sites, then your ranking may have dropped.

In next few week, Google may deindex more sites in Sape network, so don't bother using Sape now.

Sape has hundreds of thousands of websites. It's not possible to take them all down, regardless how hard Google tries. New fresh websites are being added all the time as old websites get deindexed. Sape isn't dying. I've seen plenty of people ranking with just Sape links recently.

Just to be clear, I never said SAPE is dead, I simply said it was targeted and numerous sites were removed.

Where can I find some actual numbers on the amount of SAPE sites that may have been deindexed in the past few days?

only 2 of my clients sites dropped and only by about 7 positions (less than a page), the others are still going strong and increasing in ranking. some sites in SAPE got hit, but its easy to just replace the hit ones for other powerful SAPE links.

Agreed. It works. One of my sites saw a mild drop from #2 to #6 on one of its keywords. Other than that, all sites/keywords going strong... and the one dropped will be back even stronger after I'm done what I'm doing

Don't believe the hype. Regardless of what it's about. Just because some people have seen or heard negative things about something or someone - doesn't mean the exact opposite hasn't happened. As such, when people complain something is dead, just laugh at them.

Good, actually i bought Sape links from one of the member here and now when i check the backlink report, i found 27 links deindexed out of 100 links.

I bought these link in mid march.

SAPE is dead? Bullshit Over 5000 links in my sape account and non got deindexed! Maybe some of the sites that participate in the SAPE network got busted, but only the ones of the lowest quality. Which is very good if you think about it - much of the pure garbage in the SAPE network deserves to be excluded from the SERP as it is used for negative SEO exclusively. I have never liked this kind of SEO, it's immoral and unethical! So, this Penguin 2.0 will only do good to SAPE. The fact that I don't see any deindexed URLs in my account means that the selection I've made is 100% in accordance with the newest Google guidelines

I see lost of my projects going up in the results since yesterday. SAPE will not perish. But the spammiest sites in it and the inexperienced SAPE providers that are only interested in taking their clients money definitely will.
