SAPE - Filters, Best Strategy

I have a test site, that is sitting at the page #2-3 for medium to extremely hard keywords and want to push it to the first page. The site is 6-7 months old, got a lot of web 2.0 links, some manual blog comments, social signals and stuff.

I have full access to the sape platform and already done some orders for my home page month ago (30 links) and 25 for one of the inner page 3 days ago.

When i filtering the links i set this filters:

PR1-4
CF 20+
TF 35+
only top TLD
only english sites
G indexed

My question is now if i do it right? I have noticed, that some prefer home page links only. Is for that any reason?
I want to know as well how much links are needed for a jump to page 1 (i know each case is different, but from your experience).

My friend used a lot of SAPE links and he was filtering them by TF/CF also. He noticed that if the link was not on homepage it was not giving him any effect so he stopped using the links that are not on homepage and bought only homepage ones.

Yeah, you're doing it right. I use similar settings.

Thanks guys for replays. I need to try to get some more home page links as well. They are for reason more expensive as the inner page links. Any more input?

They're more expensive because they are more powerful than the inner links.

I have been long time in sape business, so my 2 cents on "english" and why i dont like english part of sape. But i do like standard sape.

1: english part of sape is only fraction of sape
2: - english part of sape sees to many "different url changing on those pages". This is the biggest "nono" from my point of view
- when you filter english part of sape with other filters you get so little results, now think how many people put backlinks on those "little results" ? you dont think its bad if google saw sh$load of different urls being changed over time on those english sites?

just my 2 cents, i have loyal long time clients and i dont provide them with "english only sape", and i explain to everyone similar like i just wrote now

has sape still been working for you?

If so, do you use filters?

I have a SAPE account too and have carried out many experiments with those juicy links.

TIP: Save yourself the time/effort filtering out sites. Just set your filters to PR 3+ and TCI (Thematic Citation Index) 200+. The TCI is responsible for the magic.

98+% of sites with a TCI of 200 or more have a high TF rating. You're not going to see low quality or spammy sites while using that filter, and that's why they're way more expensive (mostly 600+ RUB/mth but there are some cheaper links).

Buy links only from homepages and use only your target keyword as anchor text for best results (build other cheaper links, e.g. web 2.0s, blog comments....for anchor diversity).
