Sape and Adscence

Hi. I'm running a site with sape links that is an affiliate site. Just wondering on what the consensus is on how safe it is to have sape links with a site with ad sense on it. I can afford to lose a site that gets penalized but I can't afford to lose my ad sense account! Any thoughts?

Very good question! From my previous experiences, i think your Adsense account will be 100% safe. The reason i say that is because almost 2 years ago (wow! time flies) I used a very popular high PR blog network which got a lot of attention from Google and Matt Cutts just like Sape is getting today. Once Google managed to shut down this network i was using, my site got penalised as you would expect. But guess what? I still received my cheque for adsense that same month! So my conclusion is that your account should be safe, after all you are still bringing in 100% legitimate clicks, which is what they want.

But JUST in case your account gets banned (highly unlikely), they cant prove that you used SAPE yourself, you could just spit out a lie and tell them that someone else pointed 'dirty' Sape links to your site deliberately to get you penalized

I got ton of sites slapped or deindexed but ny adsense account never got banned

Same for me as the two above said, I never understood how so many people complain about getting banned either I'm lucky (and the two above) or the people losing there accounts are doing some stupid crap
