I have a feeling one of my sites has been sandboxed. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to check this? Is there a site or a check I can do to see?

    Thanks in advance!!

    type in the searchbox:

    site:yoursite.com

That's not true. The site:yoursite.com command is to check whether you're indexed or not, it doesn't tell you whether you're sandboxed.

The best way to see if you're sandboxed or not is to do a search for the keyword phrase you're trying to rank for and if your site doesn't show up anywhere at all, then you may be sandboxed.

There's obviously a lot of other things it could be too though like not enough SEO done to the site, or maybe the Google Dance, or something else. It's hard to say.

The best way to check a site "mywebsite.com" i think is to put the search string as "mywebsite" without quotes or .com and check if it is there.

I got my site sandboxed. It was ranking on 27 and now its nowhere. When i type my site without the .com then also it doesn't show. Earlier it used to show on #4.

So i think its sandboxed by that method.

just go to google and type

    Code:
    hypertoolbar/x/
then click on the first link

there are alot of tools you can use to check if you site is sandboxed or not.

The best way to check for sandbox is to do the following. If your URL has a unique title, type it word for word in google search without quotes. You should come up in the top 10. If not, you are probably sandboxed.

This method however works only for unique titles that you might have. Don't come to any conclusions after typing things like fast fat loss if that is your page title.

If however you have something like fast fat loss with vegan diets | vegan diet fat loss | blah blah blah - you should come up high ranked
