I got a site up and got it indexed a day later.
But I accidentally built 70 backlinks on the first day (because the RSS was indexed faster than I thought).

When I do a "site:MYWEBSITEURL", my site is there.
But it's not found in the search results. What is happening here?

Thanks... phew, luckily it wasn't sandbox. I was hoping everyday that it isn't sandbox... it kinda made me worried. lol. thanks for the relief.

If you're sandboxed, your site still appears when doing a "site:" search.

Eh, not doubting you... but how sure are you? Have you gotten that before?

I just did a Google search for my domain (without using that "site:"), and my site is still listed.

oh well.. i will give it a few days.

I was page 3 and 4 for my two keywords the day after I was indexed because I gave it a powerful pr2 site wide link on my main blog. Well, a day later it's nowhere to be found. All my sites do this it seems but they always come back up. You see instant results in Google and then they drop back for a while.

Google dance.

Use a google SERP checker for your keyword and you'll probably find your site on page 20 or something.
