Sandboxed is real:(

One of my sites was on the 1st spot for my keyword ( exact match domain ) and went to the seventh page. Site is "dancing" on the 5th, 6th and 7th pages for almost 2 months now. I'm testing a theory, so i'll wait and not build any link to this site.

Those positions ( 5th, 6th and 7th ) were the ones i got when i built the site and it had no backlinks. I believe G devalued all my links for some reason. I'm testing to see if G will eventually send me back to where i was or not.

well mine is stil on no2 place on 1st page and have not moved for quit some time, im stil building backlinkseveryday and hae started for other keywords, and they are in top 100 so far...looking good :)
 
create your link it is like Google Dance and it will be at its normal soon with a good ranking that you have !!! not to worry at all
 
google reconsideration!!! It fking works! I had a site sandboxed about 5 months ago, so i made a few changes on my webpage, and submitted a reconsideration request. Got straight to position 3 on google within 5 days.

The rankings fluctuate all the time so just take it easy. Some times if you hit things too hard you can attract too much attention to yourself but playing the waiting game is the hardest thing to do.

What I do after running some campaigns (and I play in the Black Hat space a lot) is give things 2 to 4 weeks to settle. Then study the results of my efforts and based on that hit it again.

You have to track things as you go or you'll never be able to try and figure out what was too much or too little for your markets and or niches.
 
well I have noticed that one of my pages that has No2 ranking has very hard to com to No1, so i started with other keywords aswell and from 100 to 30 in 2 weeks is ok, ths is in adult niche and a keyword with alot of competiton, but my SB and tweet attacksishelping me, and today I start with my SENuke, well I have to earn it first :)

Sounds like a temporary sandbox. Don't think about it.
 
Wait till the 4th month after a PR update, if you have done something within those period of sandboxed then it well eventually leave that penalty

A site of mine has been bouncing around for all keywords for the last 4-6 weeks, all keywords page 1 for 3 days, last page for 4 days.

Most worrying development is today...and I really still can't believe this...

but my ezine articles were all stable on page 1 & 2 for these keywords (and have been for 5 months), today even the ezine articles have gone. Everything is still indexed but I'm shocked that my rock solid ezine articles have dropped. I didn't think G could do that but I suppose they can do what they like.

In webmaster tools today it does show no data in search queries do you think there's any connection?

well since my sandboxe for a couple of months ago I have leaned alot, to update webpage is one thing, and also to never ever give up, keep building the backlinks no matter how boring it is, patience will pay of.....
 
yeah building link is one of the key to open sandbox and bring your site out :p

The change of SERP continuously in few hours is Google dance like if a site having a ranking 25th on 3rd page and changes the position to 36 on 4th page and after few hours it again comes to 22 on 3 page .. that is called Google dance.. that Google is evaluating your actual position
 
I agree when it starts to dance it changes sevreal time a day...
 
I have been on google dance for 2 months now. each week google give me a day to stay at top 3 in my keyword while the other 6 days it dropped me to "i don't know where my site is".

It's kind of funny actually. it makes me remind one of bwh member's post a couple month ago: Google is doing a split testing on its SERP. it seems make sense.
