First of all, I'm a newbie to SEO.

Started a month ago, and have 3 sites up. All 3 sites were indexed the same day they were put up. Put up a 4th site and it hasn't been indexed for 3 days now. I even uploaded a sitemap to google webmaster tools.

    Didn't go through.

    "Unknown news site
Your Sitemap is on a site that is not in the Google News database. Google News can only accept Sitemaps from sites that we crawl. If your site is crawled by Google News, please check that the URL of your Sitemap agrees with the URLs of your articles as they appear on Google News, including any leading "www". If you would like to request inclusion of your site in Google News, please contact the Google News support team."

Am I screwed? The site is a seasonal site, if it doesn't show up on g for 6-8 months (as I've read if a site gets sandboxed), I won't put anymore work into it.

    Suggestions?

Not sure what you are trying to do with Google News? Just put the sitemap in Google Webmaster tools and build backlinks for it to get indexed. Google: SEO Serp Indexer Tool
