Sample template of reconsideration request?

Like many, I have received the unnatural linking letter from Google.
Since then I have tried to build only high quality links but nothing changes in rankings.
To be honest I am still very sceptical of strting deleting old spammy links but if it this is the only way to go,
I then need to submit a detailed reconsideration request to Google through Webmaster tools.
Is there a place online I can find a sample one as english is not my native language?
