My guess is that these sellers who don't refund get greedy after realising it's easy to make money and instead of doing the right thing they'd rather get banned.
That would be extremely stupid to do. Unless they're not making any sales on the forum. Why sabotage your future sales for $100, knowing that your bad reputation from this forum could spread elsewhere. I suspect these users have multiple accounts and go by different names. So when one is banned, they'd warm up another and slowly introduce a new service. For example, this fella rhat was banned, I suspect he's basically a spawn of a particular member that was banned for leaking and reselling items from the marketplace. I didn't have sufficient evidence and didn't study his profile well enough. But he all of a sudden got active on the forum before selling his shit.

I might be wrong though.
Btw you can even use the refund as a damaging admission in your marketing.

"This client paid 700 dollars for this type of backlink.

I couldn't get the right type of link for his niche and so I refunded him.

If he ever wants a different type of link then I'm always here for him.
Thing is I used to offer strict 2 weeks TAT. If I'm unable to deliver within those two weeks I refund, no questions asked. You don't even get to make the request. So, this client ordered for the type of links I was selling from a very specific Asian country. Now, I didn't want to do what other sellers where doing, where they just publish your content on any site that's willing to accept content in that language. I wanted something very authentic, from real site. Stuff like that. But unfortunately couldn't get within that period. So, I refunded them.

They later paid for a different service from me.

I like to have peace after every sale.

See this is interesting.

How about 2x the price but half the time.

1 week tat as opposed to 2 weeks.

2x price.

Obviously less people will take it depending on price but those that do clearly have more money.

This is how business should be done.

If you can't provide the service you refund them.

Really simple and as you say he bought something else from you.

I doubt very much if you scammed them they would ever return :D.

Positive word of mouth spreads fast but negative word of mouth spreads way faster ;).

I'm not trying to kick someone when they're down. I bought his guide and he didn't answer any of my questions. Besides, his guide, supposedly "with tricks that worked," contained several tricks that didn't work. He promised an update that never came.

He then sold websites to his client/subscriber list, Amazon affiliate websites with uncompetitive keywords. About a week ago, he wrote to his clients saying he'd had problems with his emails and that's why he wasn't responding, and that he had more websites to sell ($2K each). I think it would be good to announce in the seller's thread that he's been banned so that those who bought from him are aware that something is wrong and can be cautious.

powlow already said that a long time ago that he was just talking and nothing really concrete he showed

whatever he taught in his guide was useless.

I think when someone sells bst where, the item being sold is a money making method or traffic generation method. Their ebook or course has to be evaluated by a mod, as to whether they have any promise

I mean come on, posting on medium and reddit, google sites, is all over the internet

just search top cb product + review and filter in google for last 24 hours

@samleo34 The same thing happened to me, but he took 1,000 and promised to build me a crazy website with backlinks, complete scam!

I am reporting his email and domain to NameCheap. Please report so he can be taken down and removed from others getting scammed as well.

Got that email too about having problems accessing them, and was offering $500 websites with unique keywords supposedly to make you $1k-$1500 a month.

Good thing I had a bad feeling and didn't follow up on it.

It's kinda the reason why I stopped buying guides here, and I am happy I didn't buy his guide. Selling "make money online" as a means to make money online unfortunately seems to have found itself a home in BHW. Now, make no mistake, there are obvious legitimate human beings who are probably selling better sauce than anything you can find online, all complied nicely into a little book for you right here on BHW. Some of these guys will even support you along the way. But it's all the same marketing game. Do whatever you can to make people give you their money. Not that this is inherently a bad thing but the ones who also play this game unfortunately can be people like the banned individual in question. Though this should show anyone that even those willing to get banned for playing unfair games are making money. If they can make money dishonestly then you can do the same but with honesty and with longevity, which is what I will never understand why even fuck people over in the first place since it's so short-term. Goes no where.

Happy he's gone.

Also I don't mean this as an attack, but didn't this guy get pinned threads? Is that the mods doing or did he pay for them. Sorry, I'm in the dark with that kinda stuff.

Prior to these dispute issues, Opulentos had a good reputation on here. They got a number of pinned threads through having content that was featured in the newsletter - and it was good content, hence its inclusion. Obviously, if we had prior knowledge that there were issues with their business practices we would not have done this.

I see I am late. Me and my friend have been scammed by him too for 4800 EUR. He made some basic affiliate websites back in May 2025 and that's it. It never made money. We trusted him because of the reputation here and every month he tried convince us that it takes at least 6 months to start making profit. We are busy people and just wanted to have some affiliate websites on the side. I thought he was legit when he had here a thread about selling his website for 200K. Apparently just photoshopped screenshots. Lesson learned never to trust anyone anymore. Have a good day.

That Opulentos guy was always a big scammer, knew it from the start. I bought his shitty ebook and even left a review on his sales thread that it DOESNT WORK. Links were NEVER indexed.

He kept on trying to sell "Ready made websites that will make you 2-3k a month" pretty sad to see that some people got scammed because of it.

That guy did not know anything about SEO, he never ranked shit. He was just good with words and conned a lot of people (inc me because i bought that shitty ebook)

to be honest his threads were all buzz and nothing practical

he made very vague and broad claims but when he was asked to show some proof or asked that what you are saying has this problem nowadays. Powlow was constantly kinda getting under his skin (for the right reasons) but was just too thickskinned (because he had to sell a ebook)
