If same video is uploaded on two different channels, does YouTube punish the growth of later video?

I think you should watch out for copyright strike in the later video. even if you quote video from other channel, there's a copyright strike using both video or sound.
it is not recommended.

If it is uploaded by same guy on two different channels then? He obviously has the copyright.

Youtube will know that's it's the same video even if you slightly change the timing of it.

If your video is on two channels, not someone else's, and if you don't plan to monetize it, not much will happen. If you want to monetize those videos later, YouTube will send notifications marking them as other people's content. And by doing so, it will disable monetization.

Come on man!!! Behind the Youtube are AI, bot, Algorithm, Developer, Human, Alien, Chitauri,..etc.

You should stop scamming them.

not always, depends on the videos ;
technically, according to YouTube rules, you can use others' videos in your videos to a certain degree but it should never be 'a duplicate video as others have mentioned above it will result in a copyright issues.

It appears to me that both the channels belong to you. So are you planning to keep all the other metrics like title, description, tags, hash tags and keywords same for both videos?

While it is true that you can safely upload one video in two of your channels, it is important to know about the other metrics I mentioned above. You Tube will show you the copyright issue in old channel that you can safely ignore.

Since both the channels will have different set of audience it is difficult to tell which video will perform better.

I had done this with my channel too. I reuploaded few good videos from my one non-performing channel to the one that was performing really well. The videos got good response in that channel but I know that, it happened due to the higher audience base of that channel.

Chitauri? really hahah

Usually, its the sound that gets you in trouble
If it's copyrighted, there's no way around

If youTube Algorithm Detects that same video has been posted on other YouTube channel then will notify you for copyright strike
