Same theme on multiple sites?

So I'm just getting into making Amazon sites and I found a theme that I like, and I'd like to but the package for the theme where I can use it on unlimited sites. But what if I have the same theme on like 20 sites? Would that hurt me? If so, how? I do plan to test different themes and stuff but just in theory if this theme worked well for all my niches, would there somehow be another downside to using the d=same theme?

To be honest, I don't think it matters very much as long as the content is unique.
 
Yeah there are sooooooo many people ranking on page one for VERY competitive keywords using the standard 2012 theme
 
It doesn't matter mate you can change the colors if you know how to do it with theme options or with css. Also if there is any credit link in the footer you can remove that to avoid Google tracking in future.
 
No issues as long the content is unique. Also i advice you to host that on different unique IP address and don't link all domains in one webmaster account.
 
Not an issue, and if you think about it logically think of how many other people might have had access to this theme and are using it? It wouldn't make sense for you to be punished because it is on thousands of other blogs. As the other guys have said, do you think that people using the 2012 or 2013 wordpress theme get in trouble as thousands, if not millions, of others use it?

Robots don't have taste, only the ability to look at data. So they could see if it is the same theme but that is about it. They could compare to the other number of installs.
 
Spencer Haws from Niche Pursuits wrote on his blog once that his sites were penalized and they were all using the same theme with same colors. He doesn't have any proof nor doesn't claim that this was the cause, but it was very possible due they were all under the same adsense account and they looked exactly the same, so the suspicion was that his sites were manually reviewed by someone.

I don't think you'll run the same luck since you don't have that many sites as he had, but just to be safe I'd change the colors, layout and add a custom header to each site to differentiate them.
 
If they are standalone sites, you will have no problem (other than theme faults). if you plan on linking these together for SEO, you will.
 
theme doesn,t matter, just share unique products and content and do good
seo for ranking and traffic.
 
It would only matter if 19 of your sites would be backlinks, otherwise only the content should be unique as others say it
 
I don't see how it would. I always use my favorite themes on all my sites and it never hurts me.
Some themes work well and that is why we should use them so keep the current one and don't worry about it hurting u cause from my time building websites I always used Prosense or a custom theme it never hurt me so gl!
 
It wouldn't matter as long as your blog settings are different for each site (title/kw target), each site has different content, and you link to each site differently.
