Legally married same-sex spouses seeking U.S. visas will now be treated the same as opposite-sex spouses, Secretary of State John Kerry announced Friday.

How do other countries on planet earth feel and treat same-sex marriage? Does your country discriminate against the LGBT Community?

Same sex marriage has been approved in Portugal for a long time but I don't know how would it work when it comes to immigration or that sort of stuff.

The US seems to be a little delayed when it comes to that subject compared to European countries.
 
I don't think this is okay to talk about on BHW. Religion and politics are a "no-no." And sadly I live in a country where morals are delegated by a 2,000 year old book that tells us to stone homosexuals (something I'm highly against).

I personally think the US discriminates against this subject a little too much. The way I see it, it simply doesn't matter. Let people do what they wish. We have actual things to worry about, such as our economy. But that's politics: Distract people by making a big issue out of something that shouldn't be an issue at all so they can carry on with their true agenda.

Pro tip in life :

When it comes to LGBT issues its best to not say a single fucking thing. Say you support it and you got religious people boycotting you, say your against it and you got LGBT community and their supporters boycotting it. No matter your opinion on it just dont bring it up to anyone.
 
If it was up to me, I'd throw them all into one location and let them have their own little city. But not let any of them out.

Other than that, go gays!
 
I have no problem with any people finding love. Love is beautiful and life is too short to be worrying about what other consenting adults do with their time here.

In saying that, I have noticed that most vociferous anti gay protesters probably have sexuality issues that they dont want to face !
